HOW TO EARN POINTS

Daily points can be earned as followed:  

  • Any check-in (Class, Barbell Club, or Open Gym) | 1 point 

  • Wear your house color | 2 points 

  • Instagram post/story (@coalitionchicago) | 2 points 

  • Perform accessory work | 2 points 

  • Instagram reel (@coalitionchicago) | 5 points

    • Requires creativity and artistry.

  • Saturday partner WOD with a housemate | 5 points 

  • Weekly challenge (follow guidelines) | 5 points 

  • Leave a Google review  

    • New review | 15 points 

    • Previously submitted reviews | 10 points 

Important Reminder: 

Make sure your teammates fill out their score sheets correctly! They need to: 

  • Write their name at the top. 

  • Circle their house at the bottom. 


WEEKLY CHALLENGES

Each week of the House Cup will feature a new challenge designed to test a different skill set. Whether it’s endurance, strength, agility, grit, or simply stepping outside your comfort zone, these challenges are meant to push you and surprise you. Last year, participants amazed themselves with feats like holding a dead hang far longer than they thought possible, pushing over 1,000 lbs on the sled, or just surviving the ski erg (thanks, Sadie!). This year will be no different.

Here’s the lineup:

  1. Eddy EMOMers Challenge – 1/27/25 - 2/01/25

  2. Sadie Snatchers Challenge – 2/03/25 - 2/08/25

  3. Cole Headmaster Challenge – 2/10/25 - 2/15/25

  4. Rudy Ropers Challenge – 2/17/25 - 2/22/25

  5. Mel Medballers Challenge – 2/24/25 - 3/01/25

These challenges have been structured to complement our programming and allow athletes enough recovery time between their regular workouts. Each challenge may be attempted no more than twice, so plan wisely. Trust us—you’ll appreciate not having Mel’s challenge immediately after Cole’s, and you definitely won’t want to tackle Eddy’s or Sadie’s more than twice.

Important Reminder: 

All Challenges must be completed by 11:15am each Saturday before weekly points are calculated and finalized. NO EXCEPTIONS.


T-SHIRT PICK-UP

T-shirt pickup will be available starting Friday, January 24, and Saturday, January 25, before or after class times.

Please see Cole, Rudy, or Sadie to pick up your shirt.

If you can’t pick it up early, no worries! We’ll keep it safe for you. Just ask a coach the next time you’re at the gym, and they’ll grab it for you from the back.

JUST REMEMBER WEARING YOUR HOUSE SHIRT IS AN EASY WAY TO EARN SOME POINTS!!!


HOUSE CUP STANDINGS

All points will be tallied and updated weekly. At the end of the competition, the house with the most points will be forever immortalized on the Coalition House Cup. All future generations will awe and admire this momentous accomplishment.
